We have been hard at work these last 3 weeks. We have been putting up the scaffolding for the green house, saving back seeds, harvesting the fall garden, and upgrading our machinery. I am now happy to offer long arm services, embroidery services, and custom art commissions. You can now find more information for these services under the Services tab.
Some progress shots of the greenhouse. We hope to get the sides up soon. Rain and wind have made it unappealing to try to install the sides. We didn’t want to fly away! I did find a friend sheltering against the wind in my door though. He didn’t even flinch when I took this photo. He must have been cold!
In the past two weeks I have harvested purple bean seeds, basil seeds, radish seeds, yarrow seeds, mealy cup sage seeds, and purple coneflower seeds. Seed saving is a lot of fun and I hope to get a good enough supply to become self sustaining within a few growing seasons.
The two new machine upgrades! We now have a Husqvarna Viking Topax 50 embroidery machine and a Pfaff Powerquilter P3 longarm quilting machine.
Bonus Dog Photo. It turns out Verona is terrified of our battery operated leaf blower. I couldn’t get her to move while the blower was going. The poor puppy!
