Lemon Spice Jalapeño

These gorgeous yellow jalapenos were developed by the Chile Pepper Institute at New Mexico State University. They were created by crossing a green jalapeno with a Permagreen bellpepper, producing a plant that ripens to a stunning lemon yellow. With a similar heat level to a regular jalapeno, you will also experience a slight citrus twist when you eat these. They are worth growing just for adding extra color to your plate! These plants are prolific producers.

We originally acquired these seeds from Ohio Peppers down in Cincinnati.
