This pepper has been bred to have all the flavor of a habanero with none of the heat. Perfect for the person in your life who enjoys the flavor of peppers but doesn’t enjoy the mouth burning sensation. Bred by Michael Mazourek while studying for his doctoral degree at Cornell University. He was able to study the genetics and cross breed the peppers until the floral and melon flavors were preserved while eliminating the heat habaneros are known for. This variety is 100 days to ripen after transplanting so it does take a while until you can taste the fruits but it does produce heavily when well fertilized!
