Additional images and information via Forgotten Heirlooms
This pepper is a cross between a ghost pepper (Bhut Jolokia) and a Jalapeno. The heat of these is not as hot as a ghost pepper but is definitely hotter than a jalapeno (30,000-50,000 SHU). The first generation was created in 2012 by grower Jack Skaggs from Ohio. The plants grow 3-4 feet tall and produce a decent amount of pods. The flavor is fruity and floral with a hint of vegetable flavor from the jalapeno side. This variant has a yellow color when ripened.

Planting/Harvesting Notes
- Plant after all danger of frost has passed
- Plant in full sun and well draining soil
- Space plants 18 to 24 inches apart
Seed Saving
To save seed, allow the pepper to turn red on the plant, then harvest, cut the pepper, scrape out the seeds and dry on a flat surface such as a screen, paper plate or baking sheet. Allow to dry for 1-2 weeks and then store in a paper envelope.
