Additional photo and information at Forgotten Heirlooms

This pepper is believed to be an accidental Ancho Mulato cross. The result is a large, mild Jalapeno that ripens to brown. The pods have a subtle smoky, sweet flavor with mild heat. This is a hot pepper with small fruits less than 3 inches long. The fruits ripen from green to fire red.
