Prolific annual herb with smooth waxy leaves and a sweet flavor. This herb is relative of the mint family. This plant has a wonderful aromatic scent and is an excellent in Italian dishes and sauces.

- Plant after all chance of frost has passed
- Plant in an area with well drained soil and 6-8 hours of sun.
- Harvesting some leaves often will encourage the plant to grow more leaves
- Can companion plant with tomatoes, cabbage, strawberries and squash, helping to reduce tomato hornworm and cabbage worm damage
