Slow Bolt Cilantro

Aromatic herb that grows best in the spring and fall. Cilantro will bolt once the weather is warm. This makes the leaves bitter. The seeds made after the cilantro has bolted can be used to make corriander (a spice)

Planting/Harvesting Notes

  • Plant in sunny, well drained soil in the spring or late summer
  • Allow 4-6 inches per plant for the leaves to spread out
  • Harvest the leaves when low and tender.
  • Harvest frequently to encourage growth
