While this perennial herb looks visually similar to other varieties of oregano, it has a distinctly different flavor. This oregano is actually the variety that is often found in the oregano spice containers at the super market. It’s known for its strong aroma and intense flavor. Oregano is a member of the mint family and comes back aggressively when cut so you can harvest frequently for delicious dinners. Makes excellent ground cover when allowed to come back year after year so be sure to plan accordingly when planting!
