This herb is most classically used to flavor pickles and potato salad, but is also used to flavor salads and soups. This plant is in the same family as parsley, celery, fennel, and carrots. The seeds can also be used as a spice. If the plant is allowed to go to seed, it may self seed and come back the following year.
