This flower is a hybrid developed in the 1800s by crossing the oxeye daisy with several wild daisy varieties. The flowers have white petals with yellow centers and dark green leaves. The blooms draw butterflies and other pollinators. Once established, the daisies will spread easily by rhizomes. They are great for cut flowers! Be aware that daisies are toxic to dogs and cats, so plan accordingly when planting.
