Planting/Harvesting Notes
- Plant after all danger of frost has passed.
- Plant in well drained soil in full sun as the heads will require a lot of sun for good growth.
- Leave 2-3 feet between plants to allow the plants to spread
- Plants are drought tolerant once established
- Remove plants once flowers have died off as these plants will not flower more than once.
Choose a spot in your yard that gets at least 6 hours of sun a day. Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the container. Then carefully remove the flower from the pot. Place the flower in the hole and fill the hole. Water the soil well to help it settle around the roots.
