Blanket flowers are apart of the Aster family. They have beautiful pink and yellow daisy like flowers with brown centers. Blanket flowers are named because they tend to “blanket” an area, spreading in colorful clusters as they go. Blanket flowers grow fast and will bloom in the first year if they are very happy. Blanket flowers are slightly toxic to humans so they are not suitable for ingestion.
